Driftwood Monster Sculpture Day 7 Creatures

This bird like beast is totally recycled. The knob eyes came off the bathroom cabinets, the driftwood came from assorted beaches and the white clay was given to me by someone who no longer had a use for it.

Prang air dry clay dries extremely hard but until then is rather smelly and is difficult to work with. The clay is soft at first but it wants to layer and crack. I was unable to get the finer detail that can be achieved from polymer clays or real clay.

I still have an unopened package of the clay so I'll be giving it another shot only because I don't have a receipt to return it to the store.
