The Relationship Between Duct Tape and the Star Wars Death Star - Typography Poster Day 31
Fini. Just like poor Alderaan.
Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side & a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
I'm pushing the boundaries of little to no illustration but I say it's only circles. That's my justification and I'm sticking with it. I never realized how much the Death Star looks like an olive. If I drank (or ate olives) I'd be tempted to have a martini to celebrate the end of this month's challenge.

Sweat Suits and Pink Tutus - Typography Poster Day 23
I used to envy moms with fashionable daughters. Mine kids were usually covered in dirt and they refused to wear anything other than sweat suits and pink tutus. Sometimes they wore them together.
OK, they also liked to dress up in super hero costumes and they still do on occasion.

Dining In - Typography Poster Day 22
I like the way the D in the tittle looks like a cauldron and the rest of the I reminds me of a ladder back chair.

There Are No Bad Vegetables, Only Misunderstood Ones - Typography Poster Day 20
I must admit artichoke is one of my favorite vegetables, it only looks dangerous.
The colors in the gradient came from actual vegetables.

Bicycle Riding in 92% Humidity Is A Cure For A Good Hair Day - Typography Poster Day 15
I announced this after returning from a rather sweaty bike ride in winds that would have made the Wicked Witch of the East nervous.
I made the poster in Illustrator with a grey gradient in the text. It needed a bit more so I opened it Photoshop.
Layer 2 - Edit > Fill with # 749dbc. Blend mode Overlay
Layer 3 - Add a desatuated grunge texture image. Blend mode Overlay. Opacity 43%

I Before E Except After C Weird - Typography Poster Day 12
I used think there were no exceptions to certain things I learned in school. There are 9 planets, 5 senses, we use 10% of our brains and i before e except after c. I feel so disillusioned.
